What is a UX Unicorn?

In the world of UX Design, a UX Unicorn is a mythical creature with a universal skillset usually consisting of UX Design, HCI, UX Research, UI Design, Information Architechture, Visual Design, and IxD. Thanks to a five month UX Design certification program through Cornell University, alongside a ton of self-learning, design challenges, and a mentorship, I am equiped with this universal skillset. Thus, I am a UX Unicorn; and for those of you who have never heard of this title, trust me, it's a real job! That said, I am uncomfortable translating mockups into HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which is sometimes expected or required of a UX Unicorn. A unicorn is also a keen symbol of my creative and quirky personality, empathetic nature, and ever-willingness to think outside the box to deliver high-fidelity design solutions. Besides, who doesn't want to be a unicorn? It suits me well!
